INDUS Wins $7 Million Task Order at BLS


VIENNA, VA, March 13, 2015 — INDUS Secure Network Solutions, LLC (INDUS), a leading Federal Information Technology (IT) solutions provider,  announced today that it has been awarded its first Task Order under a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for IT Application Development Support Services by the Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics. The BPA was awarded to INDUS in August 2014 for five years and has a ceiling of approximately $123M.  This task order provides IT application development support for the Office of Compensation and Working Conditions (OCWC).

BLS is the principal Federal agency responsible for measuring labor market activity, working conditions, and price changes in the economy. Its mission is to collect, analyze, and disseminate essential economic information to support public and private decision making. As an independent statistical agency, BLS serves its diverse user communities by providing products and services that are objective, timely, accurate, and relevant. The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has designated several of BLS’s indexes as Principal Federal Economic Indicators (PFEIs).  The economic and labor statistics provided by the BLS allows a global audience to understand and assess the performance of the US economy.
